Since 2008, Cosey and I cooperate to make ‘Virtual Expositions’ with images of new albums. You can still find all of them via the pages dedicated to these albums (we started with Jonathan 14: ELLE ou dix milles lucioles). Because of the pre-publication of some pages of Yiyun in Les Cahiers de la Bande Dessinée I had to push Cosey a little bit, because, of course, it is still a long time before the album is published, in October 2025.
In the virtual exposition of Yiyun, you will find black-and- white images from the album. You will see the images before clean-up and in grayscale: since a few years, Cosey inks his pages with a brush and you will notice some lines are not 100% black – they will be in the final album. For some images, you can compare the black-and-white images to the final, coloured ones that will appear in the album.
