This is the first Jonathan album that Cosey made after having visited the Himalayas; Ladakh and Kashmir. It can be seen in the many detailed scenes of the album: the houses, village fields, the clothing of the Tibetan people, objects of daily life, etc.
The story about the recognition ceremony of the dalaï lama invokes the political situation of the Tibetan suppression by the Chinese.
