I asked Cosey some questions about his ‘work in progress’ and about the 5th Jonathan Intégrale. I can share some great news with you!
The 15th album of Jonathan will appear in november 2011. The title of the album will be ‘Atsuko’ (a Japanese female name). The story will begin in Birma and will continue in a snow-covered Japan. The album (54 pages) will be published in a ‘normal’ edition and an edition ‘grand format’, that will have a dossier of 8 or 16 pages. Each edition will have a different cover; both will be published by Le Lombard. At this moment, 40 pages have already been drawn (black & white), colouring will be done after all drawings are ready.
I hope to publish some preview images of this album on this site in september/october 2011.
Coming very soon is the 5th Jonathan Intégrale. It will have the two latest stories (‘Songrong’ and ‘Elle’), and it will have a dossier of no less than… 60 pages! So the 5th volume will have the same size as the first four Intégrales.
Appearing in January 2011 is an Intégrale of ‘Le Bouddha d’Azur’ (in the collection Aire Libre). Two editions will be published: a ‘normal’ edition and a ‘numbered & signed’ edition (999 ex.). This special edition will have a portrait of Lhahl on watercolour paper.
